Where do you want to live? That can be very different. It depends on your character and your wishes in terms of space and lifestyle. For example, there are people who would like to live in a monument. Or on the water. Or both. I want to tell you something about that here. What really inspired me is the Twuyvermolen in Sint Pancras (NH) and the way in which the residents, Rob Basten and Suzanne Jong, have transformed it into a unique living space, which they regularly open to interested visitors. The restoration of the mill, with a great eye for historical, technical, architectural, artistic and sustainability aspects, has created a magnificent monument.
